Together they've built a big, welcoming training community where beginners and competitors share the same mats.
Getting here from Tysons
From Tysons Corner Center, get on the Capital Beltway (I-495 South) right in Tysons and stay on it about 12.6 miles, past Merrifield and Annandale, to exit 173. Then go north on South Van Dorn Street to Eisenhower Avenue. Google Maps puts the whole trip at 14 miles: usually 14 to 20 minutes on a weekend morning and 16 to 24 minutes on a weekday late morning or after 8:30 PM. Weekday rush hour on the Beltway can add a lot more.
Metro works but is slow from here. The Silver Line from Tysons connects to the Blue Line, and Google Maps shows about 54 minutes door to door, so driving is usually faster. Parking at the academy is free and on site.

Teens BJJ (ages 11–14) trains at 6:00 PM on Tuesday and Thursday, and Kids and Teens No-Gi (ages 4–14) on Saturday at 10:00 AM, a good slot for families coming down the Beltway on a weekend. Younger children train in Tumblers (2–3), Tots (4–6) and Kids (7–10). Kids who want to compete can join the Kids and Teens Competition team, ages 7 and up, by invitation.
