Kids BJJ Classes in Alexandria, VA
Jiu-Jitsu for kids in four age groups, coached by IBJJF Pan American Champion Giovanna Amaral and black belt Malachi Edmond. Your child builds confidence and coordination, and parents are welcome to watch.

Tumblers and Tots
Tumblers (ages 2–3) and Tots (ages 4–6) learn to move, listen and take turns through games built on Jiu-Jitsu positions. Five classes a week between the two groups.
Ages 7 to 10
Kids BJJ
Technique, drilling and supervised live rounds, four classes a week. Giovanna also leads small-group girls' classes with extra attention for every young female athlete.
Ages 11 to 14
Teens and competition

BJJ builds real confidence and teaches control rather than striking. Our coaches teach kids to avoid conflict first and use their skills only as a last resort.

Classes are held at One Way Martial Arts, 5416 Eisenhower Ave, Alexandria, VA 22304, right off the Van Dorn Street Metro (Blue Line) with free on-site parking. We train students from Alexandria, Arlington, Springfield, Annandale and Fairfax.
