Stop rushing to pull guard.
Most BJJ students feel lost the moment a match starts standing. They pull guard because they have to, not because they want to. Mahamed's course changes that.
It starts with the grip fight: where it's dangerous, which grips to break and which to keep. Feel safe on your feet first, and your partners start to think you're stronger than you are. The takedowns come next.

Who teaches it?
Mahamed Aly, 4x IBJJF World Champion, 4x European Open Champion and head coach at One Way Martial Arts in Alexandria, VA.
What takedowns does the course teach?
Judo throws adapted for BJJ (seoi nage, tai otoshi, harai goshi, uchi mata, kata guruma and ouchi gari), wrestling-style entries (the train wreck, the collar drag and the clinch) and no-gi takedowns, plus the base, breakfalls, sprawl and grip fighting that make them work.
How long is the course?
54 lessons and about 5½ hours of video: 25 core lessons (about 4 hours) plus 29 bonus lessons on wrist locks, grip strength and competition takedowns. Some longer lessons come in two or three parts, so you can stop and drill between them.
Can you learn BJJ takedowns online?
You can learn the grips, the entries and the mechanics on video, then drill them with a partner on a mat. A coach correcting you live is still the fastest way to fix the details, so if you are near Alexandria, VA, you can also start with a free first class at One Way.
I've never done judo or wrestling. Is it for me?
Yes. It starts with base, breakfalls and simple drills, and every move is explained step by step, with why you grip where you grip. The goal is to feel safe standing up, not to turn you into a judo player.
Gi or no-gi?
Both. Most throws are taught in the gi, and there are separate lessons on no-gi grip fighting, no-gi takedowns and no-gi takedown defense.
Do I need a training partner?
You can watch on your own, and the grip strength bonus needs no partner. To drill the throws you'll want a partner and a mat.
What are the bonus lessons?
29 bonus lessons in three sections: wrist locks (11 lessons), a grip strength program you can do at home (12 lessons) and Mahamed's own takedowns in real competition (6 lessons).
